WHAT IS ROO RECOVERY?
The organic whey concentrate in Roo Recovery is sourced from ethically treated, grass-fed, Jersey cows that receive no artificial growth hormones (such as rBGH or rBST). The cows graze year-round on northern California pastures creating an ideal amino acid profile. The whey is cold-processed then combined with Himalayan salt. Our product is lecithin-free for the cleanest recovery.
WHY ROO RECOVERY?
Organic whey is one of the most bio-available proteins (in terms of percentage absorbed) in existence. Whey comes from cow milk and is offered in 3 types: concentrate, isolate and hydrolysate. Of these, whey protein concentrate is the least processed, ensuring the highest concentrations of naturally occurring bioactive ingredients.
Himalayan salt is then used to aid the replenishment of electrolytes and facilitate proper hydration due to its mineral content. It offers numerous health benefits and does not contain those pollutants sometimes found in conventional sea salt.
HOW TO USE ROO RECOVERY?
Roo Recovery can be used post-workout to aid recovery or any time a high-quality protein is desired. Many of our customers enjoy Roo as their go-to protein powder for smoothies, baking, and protein-based recipes. On the fly? No problem! Enjoy Roo our favorite way; straight up with 8oz of refreshing, cold water! Just remember: use a blender or bottle with a mixing ball since Roo is lecithin-free!
ORGANIC WHEY PROTEIN - California
Sourced from grass-fed, Jersey cows in northern California. Amino acid profiles of dairy change not only seasonally, but more importantly, by region. The climate in northern California produces some of the world’s best whey protein. The combination of sun, temperature and soil allows for year round grazing. Our whey is cold-processed.
HIMALAYAN SALT - Pakistan
Sourced from the Punjab region of Pakistan, Himalayan salt provides minerals and electrolytes that facilitate proper hydration. Because of its age and the fact that it is mined, this salt has not been exposed to those pollutants sometimes found in conventional sea salt.
